All tours are led by nationally licensed guides who are certified under Japanese law and fluent in English. Our guides specialize in delivering cultural insights to international guests.

Our tour packages include visits to culturally significant locations tied to Japanese automotive history, including sites that are not easily accessible by public transport. Transportation during the tour — whether by minivan or selected private vehicles — is provided free of charge solely to support the movement between tour locations as part of the guided experience.

We do not provide transportation or taxi services, nor do we operate as a transport business. We do not charge based on distance, time, route, or vehicle type, and guests cannot use our service for driving-only or transportation purposes. Tour fees reflect guide services, itinerary planning, cultural interpretation, and coordination of the overall experience.

We also do not provide car rentals, car sharing, or any self-driving experiences. These activities are regulated under Japanese law and require specific licenses, as well as vehicles that are properly registered and insured as rentals — identifiable by number plates marked with the Japanese character “わ” (wa). All vehicles used in our tours are privately owned and not registered as rental or hire vehicles.

Our social media and marketing materials may feature iconic Japanese vehicles such as GTRs and other performance cars. These vehicles are presented as part of the storytelling and cultural exploration component of the tour — showcasing Japan’s car culture — not as the product being offered. The inclusion of such vehicles is for educational and cultural purposes only.

By booking a tour with Niche Tours (Niche Drive), guests acknowledge and agree that the experience being purchased is a guided cultural experience, and that any transportation involved is incidental, complimentary, and not charged as a standalone service.
